About Us

Inaugurated in August 2000, the club was the result of a joint initiate between Proton and a group of Gti owners . Initially known as the Satria GTi Enthusiast Club, the initiative formalized together the various scattered clusters of GTI owner groups around the Klang valley. Officially registered as of January 2002, the club boasts a strong membership of 240 members registered online from around the country inclusive of Singapore and England. In spite of the newly approved registered name of Satria GTi Club, Kuala Lumpur, the club has initiated efforts to appoint representatives in all regions of the Country to elevate the membership representation to comply with the requirements of the Registrar Of Societies.

The club operates now through an elected committee of individuals from different professional backgrounds like Doctors, Lawyers, IT Professionals, Motorsport representatives, Sales and Marketing and various others. This unique collation provides an unbiased representation to the club. The age group in the club ranges from 19 to 48 years of age. Going to any club activities will clearly exemplify this where the older moderate the adrenaline levels abiding to the club objective of Safety Always. Potential members are introduced to the club activities and are invited to join through the clubs official web site. It also hosts a Discussion Board where members and the general public are invited to forward questions or topics of interest for discussions related to Satria GTi or other facts inclusive of club announcements and invites. Most importantly the board provides a platform to share experiences and also to seek knowledge related to the Satria Gti or automobile technologies. There is also a section to hosts selected Photography from previous exciting activities, guaranteed to entice the potential members.
